Connectors

Connect your Chocho journal to an AI app you already use, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Meta Muse, and talk through your own notes there.

Last updated: 27 September 2026

Chocho is now available as a connector in Claude. Connectors for ChatGPT and Meta Muse are coming soon; until then, and for Gemini or Grok, ask Chocho for a share link to use your journal with them today. How share links work

01

What a connector does

A connector lets an AI app you choose look at your Chocho journal when you ask it to. You could ask it to sum up how your last month went, find every day you mentioned a headache, or help you get ready for a doctor's appointment.

Connectors can only read. An app can never add, change, or delete anything in your journal.

02

Who can use it

  • Anyone with an active Chocho plan (monthly, yearly, or lifetime), including during your free trial.
  • If your plan ends, connected apps stop working until you rejoin. Your journal is still there in your dashboard.
03

How to connect

  1. In Claude, open Chocho Journal in the Claude directory and choose Connect.
  2. Sign in to Chocho when asked.
  3. Check what the app is asking to see, then tap Allow.

That's it. The app never sees your Chocho password.

Using ChatGPT, Meta Muse or another app with custom MCP servers? You can connect Chocho yourself before its official connector arrives:

  1. In your AI app's settings, add a custom connector (sometimes called an MCP server).
  2. Enter the address https://api.chochojournal.com/mcp
  3. If it asks how to sign in, choose the sign-in option (not an API key or token), sign in to Chocho and tap Allow.

Gemini and Grok can't connect to Chocho directly yet. To use Chocho with them, ask Chocho for a share link instead.

04

What a connected app can see

  • The condition you track, your symptom list, and your time zone
  • Your journal entries, and the foods, medications, tests, appointments, and symptoms Chocho picked out of them
  • Your daily symptom scores and Chocho Score
  • The daily recaps and weekly summaries Chocho has already sent you

A connected app never sees your chats with Chocho, what Chocho remembers about you, your name, your phone number, or your billing details.

When you connect, the app may also be told the email address of your Chocho account, so it knows which account is yours. You'll see this on the approval screen before you agree.

Your journal is what you logged yourself. It isn't medical advice, and neither is anything an AI app tells you about it.

05

Your data and the app

Once an app reads your journal, that app's own terms and privacy policy apply to what it does with it. Chocho does no extra processing for connected apps; they only see what's already in your journal. See our Privacy Policy for more.

To keep things fair and secure, connected apps have a generous daily usage limit. You're very unlikely to notice it.

06

Disconnecting

Go to Connected apps in your Chocho dashboard and tap Disconnect. It works straight away. Deleting your Chocho account disconnects every app.
